Nick Jonas To Star in Broadway’s ‘How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’

In July, we learned that Darren Criss was selected to be Daniel Radcliffe‘s replacement in the hit Broadway musical, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, starting on January 3rd of next year. The announcement was met with an unsurprising amount of complete delight that many people though would never be topped, no matter whoever else would be chosen to embody the production’s lead role of J. Pierrepont Finch. But it appears as though we were wrong because today’s news that Criss’ replacement will be none other than Nick Jonas was received with overwhelming joy from across the board. No exact dates for Jonas’ Broadway run have been announced, but Criss’ stint on stage ends on January 22nd, 2012, so it’s looking like the youngest JoBro is expected to take the stage soon after.

Though Nick is just 18 years-old, this won’t be the first time he’s taken part in musical theater. In 2001, he appeared in the Broadway hit Annie Get Your Gun, and then in 2002, he played Chip in Beauty and the Beast. The last time he was on Broadway was in 2003, when he was cast as young Gavroche in the cult classic, Les Misérables. So get your tickets now, everyone, because if there’s anything that’s going to sell out quickly, it’s a professionally lit Jonas brother in a pinstripe suit.
