Biography

Patrick McVey was an actor who graced the silver screen many times throughout his career. With roles in "Telephone Time" (1955-58), the Robert Taylor crime feature "Party Girl" (1958) and "North By Northwest" (1959) with Cary Grant, McVey began his career. Later, he tackled roles in "Hazel" (1961-66), the crime drama "The Detective" (1968) with Frank Sinatra and the horror flick "Desperate Characters" (1971) with Shirley MacLaine. He also appeared in "The Visitors" (1972) and the Christopher St John fantasy "Top Of The Heap" (1972). Toward the end of his career, McVey acted in "Bang the Drum Slowly" (1973).
