Biography

Paul Carpenter worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Early on in his acting career, Carpenter landed roles in various films, including the spy picture "Night People" (1954) with Gregory Peck, "Black Glove" (1954) and "The House Across the Lake" (1954). He also appeared in the Dana Andrews adventure "Duel in the Jungle" (1954), "Stranger Came Home" (1954) with Paulette Goddard and the Michael Redgrave adaptation "The Sea Shall Not Have Them" (1955). He continued to act in productions like the sci-fi feature "Fire Maidens From Outer Space" (1956) with Anthony Dexter, "The Iron Petticoat" (1956) and the drama "Jet Storm" (1959) with Richard Attenborough. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the drama "The Beauty Jungle" (1966) with Ian Hendry, "The Spies" and "Intent to Kill." Carpenter also acted in "The Young Lovers."
