Biography

Paul McGrath was widely known for his acting on the big screen. McGrath found his beginnings in film with roles in "Parole Fixer" (1940), "Dead Men Tell" (1941) and the comedic adaptation "This Thing Called Love" (1941) with Rosalind Russell. Later, he acted in the Claudette Colbert romance "No Time For Love" (1943), "First Love" (NBC, 1953-56) and "Lady in the Dark" (NBC, 1954-55). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "A Face in the Crowd" (1957) with Andy Griffith and "Advise and Consent" (1962) with Henry Fonda. Later in his career, McGrath worked on "The Adventures of Hyperman" (CBS, 1995-96).
