Pete Yorn brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Yorn's career began with music appearances mostly in comedies like "No Looking Back" (1998) starring Lauren Holly, "Me, Myself and Irene" (2000) with Jim Carrey and "Sidewalks of New York" (2001). He also appeared in "40 Days and 40 Nights" (2002) with Josh Hartnett and Shannyn Sossamon. Though known first for his music, Yorn also acted in "Reverb" (HBO, 1996-2002). In the early 2000s, Yorn's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the action film "John Q." (2002) with Denzel Washington, the comedy "Orange County" (2002) with Colin Hanks and "Hellboy" (2004). His work was also in the Mike Myers blockbuster animated sequel "Shrek 2" (2004), "The Girl Next Door" (2004) with Emile Hirsch and the comedic adaptation "Just Like Heaven" (2005) with Reese Witherspoon. Yorn's music was also featured in "Open Season" (2006), the Natalie Maines documentary "Shut Up & Sing" (2006) and "My Sister's Keeper" (2009) with Cameron Diaz.
