Biography

Former teen model Peyton List moved successfully into an acting career in the early 2000s, playing headstrong young women in "As the World Turns" (CBS, 1956-2010), "Mad Men" (AMC, 2007- ) and "The Tomorrow People" (The CW, 2013- ), among numerous other projects. She began her modeling and screen careers as an adolescent before landing her breakout role on the daytime soap "As the World Turns." Her four-year run on the program gave her the clout to try her hand at primetime TV, but List struggled to find consistent work until landing the recurring role of Roger Sterling's younger wife on "Mad Men." She parlayed the exposure into larger parts in series and independent features before landing a leading role as a psychically powered woman in "The Tomorrow People." List's steady stream of work underscored her status as a well-liked performer among small screen viewers.
