Phil Motherwell was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Motherwell found his beginnings in film with roles in the comedic adaptation "Oz" (1976) with Joy Dunstan, "Pure S" (1976) and "Dimboola" (1979). Motherwell made film his next project, appearing in "Mad Max" (1979), the drama "Stir" (1980) with Bryan Brown and the Noni Hazlehurst drama "Monkey Grip" (1982). He also appeared in "With Love to the Person Next to Me" (1987) with Kim Gyngell and the horror film "Bloodlust" (1992) with Jane Stuart Wallace. Later in his career, Motherwell acted in the dramatic adaptation "Everynight, Everynight" (1994) with David Field.
