Biography

Born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, Priscilla Barnes is best remembered as the replacement for Suzanne Somers towards the end of the hit sitcom "Three's Company," on which she played the beautiful blonde Terri Alden. After being discovered by screen legend Bob Hope, she moved to L.A., where she appeared on Peter Falk detective drama "Colombo," and ended up posing for Penthouse magazine under a pseudonym. She rekindled her career as an actress on classic late 1970s and early 1980s fare like the stylish crime drama "Starsky and Hutch" and the Golden Globe nominated private investigator series "The Rockford Files." Her big break came in 1981 when she was cast on the roommate centered comedy series "Three's Company." She co-starred on the sitcom opposite John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt until the show ended in 1984, after which she garnered roles in such Hollywood films as the Timothy Dalton-era James Bond film "License to Kill," and the underwater sci-fi thriller "Lords of the Deep." Since then she has appeared in a number of films and TV series, some of which -- such as Sean Penn's "The Crossing Guard" alongside Jack Nicholson -- have been more notable than others, like the romance-fueled TV movie "The Cowboy and the Movie Star."
