Punk icon JOHN LYDON and his band PUBLIC IMAGE LTD. are set to release their 10th studio album after self-funding the project.
What the World Needs Now…, the follow-up to 2012’s This Is PiL, will be released on 4 September (15).
The new album was recorded at Steve Winwood’s Wincraft studio last year (14), according to Billboard.com.
Tracks include a tribute to silver screen pin-up Bettie Page.
