Country star Ray Price has been admitted to hospital to seek treatment for severe dehydration. The 87 year old took to his Facebook.com page on Monday (13May13) to inform fans about his condition, but insisted he was already on the road to recovery after treatment.
He writes, “Doctors are pouring the fluids to me and I am feeling much better. I wanted you to hear from me before you hear it from the media. I have asked my wife, Janie, to keep you all posted. Thanks for your prayers and support.”
Price announced earlier this year (13) that he is in remission for pancreatic cancer after receiving six months of chemotherapy for the disease.
