Raye cries while recounting sexual abuse ordeal on stage

Raye broke down on stage as she told fans about a time she was “abused” by an unnamed colleague in a recording studio.
The British singer, who was rumoured to be dating rap superstar Drake back in April (18), told her emotional story during a gig at KOKO in London on Tuesday (06Nov18) after debuting her latest song Ice Cream.
“A few years ago, a man invaded my space. I didn’t handle it well. I thought it was my fault because I was wearing inappropriate clothing, which is ridiculous,” the 21-year-old shared, reports British newspaper Metro. “It’s really tough singing this but I just really wanna share this with you, because there are girls and boys, men and women who have dealt with this and have had to step out with a smile on their face and pretend everything is OK and not talk about it.”
Lyrics to the new track include, “He tried to touch me, tried to f**k me”.
Raye has previously collaborated with Charli XCX, Stefflon Don and Jonas Blue, and released her third extended play Side Tape earlier this year.
