In addition to shooting hoops, Reggie Theus also shot for the stars by extending his entertainment career into the entertainment business. In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Theus held acting roles in films like "Sweet Perfection" (1988) with Stoney Jackson. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The Boys" (Showtime, 1988-89) and "1995 NBA All-Star Stay in School Celebration" (NBC, 1994-95). During these years, he additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in the Billy Crystal comedy "Forget Paris" (1995). Theus focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the action movie "Light It Up" (1999) with Usher and the comedic fantasy "Like Mike" (2002) with Bow Wow. He also was featured in the TV movie "Baby Bedlam" (HBO, 2001-02). Theus most recently appeared in "Book of Love: The Definitive Reason Why Men are Dogs" (BET, 2004-05).
