Biography

Canadian actress Rekha Sharma gained her most prominent role aboard "Battlestar Galactica. " On the 21st century reboot of the 1980 sci-fi series, Sharma played Tory Foster, a Presidential Aide who is not all that she appears to be. After beginning her career in the theater, Sharma broke into TV in 2001 on another revamped series, "The Outer Limits." She continued with recurring roles on a variety of sci-fi programs, including the post-apocalyptic "Dark Angel," produced by James Cameron; the amnesiac drama "John Doe"; and the young Superman series "Smallville." In 2006 Sharma joined the cast of "Battlestar Galactica" for the most notable role of her career thus far, appearing in over 30 episodes. After the show came to a close in 2009, Sharma continued her penchant for sci-fi the same year with the reboot of the 1980s alien-invasion series "V." The actress played Sarita Malik, an alien agent assigned with infiltrating the human resistance.
