Report: Parker and Broderick Welcome Twins

Actors Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have become parents to twin girls — their surrogate mother reportedly gave birth to the babies on Tuesday morning.

According to Ohio TV news station WTRF, the kids were born at the East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, where the Hollywood couple was present to welcome the newborns into the world.

Parker and Broderick turned to the unidentified surrogate after failing to naturally conceive a sibling for their 6-year-old son James Wilkie. They are expected to make an official announcement about the new additions to their family on Tuesday afternoon.

The happy news comes just two weeks after the stars found themselves embroiled in a tabloid scam to dig up dirt on the woman carrying their babies.

Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter is currently under investigation after he was accused of agreeing to snoop on the pregnant female for a tabloid reporter.

No charges have been filed against Carpenter as WENN went to press.
