Red Canvas writer/director Kenneth Chamitoff promised Rhames $200,000 (£125,000) for six days of work on the action film, according to a lawsuit filed by the actor in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday (19Feb10).
The Pulp Fiction star claims he only received $175,000 (£109,000) of the sum after a “stop payment” was put on his final $25,000 (£17,000) paycheck.
He’s now suing Chamitoff and Red Canvas Productions for fraud and breach of contract, reports TMZ.com.
