Actor Richard Armitage has been cast as villain the Tooth Fairy in popular TV drama Hannibal. The Hobbit star will appear as Francis Dolarhyde in six episodes of season three, according to TVLine.com.
Armitage’s character first appeared in the novel Red Dragon, which was adapted into a 2002 film starring Anthony Hopkins and Edward Norton. Ralph Fiennes portrayed the Tooth Fairy.
Hannibal will return to U.S. TV later this year (15).
