Biography

Richard Jamison was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also was featured in the miniseries "Louis L'Amour's The Sacketts" (1978-79) and "The Chisholms" (1978-79). In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Jamison held acting roles in films like the George Segal comedy "The Duchess and the Dirtwater Fox" (1976). He also starred in the TV movies "Snowbeast" (1976), "When She Says No" (ABC, 1983-84) and "I Married a Centerfold" (NBC, 1984-85). He continued to work steadily in television throughout the eighties, appearing on "Murder, She Wrote" (1984-1996), "Melba" (CBS, 1985-86) and "Designing Women" (CBS, 1986-1993). He also starred in the TV movies "The Rape of Richard Beck" (ABC, 1984-85) and "Destination: America" (ABC, 1986-87). During the latter part of his career, he tackled roles on "L.A. Law" (NBC, 1986-1994) and "Sisters" (1990-96). He also was featured in the TV movie "Sister Margaret and the Saturday Night Ladies" (CBS, 1986-87). He also appeared in "Retribution" (1987). Jamison most recently acted on "Vengeance Unlimited" (ABC, 1998-99).
