Biography

Robert Kelljan had a reputation of being a keen director, with many credits on television programs throughout his illustrious career. Kelljan worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Count Yorga, Vampire" with Robert Quarry (1970), "Hell's Angels on Wheels" (1967), "Psych-Out" (1968) starring Susan Strasberg, "Scream Blacula Scream" (1973), "The Glass Cage" (1964) and "The Return of Count Yorga" (1971) starring Robert Quarry. He continued to work in film in the seventies, directing motion pictures like "Black Oak Conspiracy" (1976) with Jesse Vint. In the seventies, Kelljan worked on "Julie Farr, M.D." (1977-79), "Kaz" (1978-79) and "The Dukes of Hazzard" (1978-1985). Kelljan also directed the drama "Black Oak Conspiracy" (1976) with Jesse Vint. During the latter part of his career, Kelljan directed "Eischied" (1979-1983), "Hill Street Blues" (1980-87), "Cassie and Company" (1981-82), and "Fame" (1981-87). Kelljan last directed "Bring 'Em Back Alive" (1982-83).
