Robert Shapiro: ‘Kim Kardashian will be a sensational lawyer’

O.J. Simpson’s attorney Robert Shapiro is confident that Kim Kardashian will make a “sensational” lawyer and even offered the star a job once she passes her bar exam.
The legal eagle, who worked closely with Kim’s dad Robert Kardashian on O.J.’s legal team during the murder case into his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, told TMZ that he has high hopes for the 38-year-old’s latest venture.
“I think she’ll be a sensational lawyer,” he gushed. “You know what, once she passes the bar she will always have a job in my office.”
When asked about whether he thinks the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star will be taken seriously by those in the legal profession, Robert cited the star’s track record as evidence of her influence.
“Look what she did with the President of the United states, she got somebody right out of jail,” he said, alluding to Alice Johnson, the inmate Kim persuaded President Donald Trump to release from jail last year (18) after she was sentenced to life imprisonment for non-violent drug trafficking offences in 1997.
While the 76-year-old, who was portrayed by John Travolta in TV series American Crime Story, admitted that the star’s decision to take the unconventional route of not going to mainstream law school would make her ambition more challenging, he went on to laud Kim’s desire to further her education and pursue her ambition.
“She told me a year ago she’s planning on doing this and she’s serious about it and I hope she’s successful,” he enthused. “It’s gonna be a very difficult and long process for her, doing her the way she’s doing it, and I wish her the best of luck. I give anybody credit that wants to further their education, try to do something they haven’t done and be challenged.”
Kim recently updated her fans with her legal training, revealing on Twitter: “Aced my test btw.”
