Cheri Townsend, the wife of actor-director Robert, filed a Los Angeles Superior Court divorce petition Tuesday saying that irreconcilable differences has caused them to end their 11-year marriage.
The couple married Sept. 15, 1990.
Cheri Townsend also is seeking custody of their three daughters, aged 1, 7 and 9, The Associated Press reported.

The 44-year-old actor has directed and starred in the films Hollywood Shuffle, The Five Heartbeats and The Meteor Man.
