One of the most critically acclaimed of all the HBO dramas developed during the term of CEO Chris Albrecht was "The Wire," a sequentially thematic look at different sides of life in Baltimore as imagined by former police reporter David Simon. For three seasons, Robert Wisdom got to be a part of the glorious mix, as police Lieutenant Howard "Bunny" Colvin. Wisdom is originally from nearby Washington D.C., adding yet another layer of meaning to this career highlight. A few years after his work on "The Wire," it looked like Wisdom had found a home on network television in the series "Happy Town." But the mystery drama was canceled by ABC after just eight episodes. Wisdom got a big break on another ABC drama, the Robert Pastorelli vehicle "Cracker: Mind Over Murder." He played Detective Danny Watlington in 15 episodes. Wisdom's other credits include a 13-episode run as Lechero on the 2007-2008 season of Fox's crime thriller "Prison Break" and a recurring role in 2010 on Fox's helpful spy series "Burn Notice," as Vaughn.
