Biography

Handsome Canadian player Robin Dunne amassed quite a varied selection of credits in numerous TV projects and a handful of films from family-aimed TV dramas to libido-driven direct-to-video projects. A veteran of Canadian television beginning in his teens, the brown-haired, blue-eyed player with boy-next-door good looks got early exposure in the States with Canada-lensed projects like the 1994 TV-movie "Against Their Will: Women in Prison" (ABC), the 1996 feature "The Road Home" and the series "My Life as a Dog" (aired on Showtime in the USA from 1997 to 1998). A 1998-2000 recurring role as the charmingly bookish Franz on PAX TV's "Little Men" won the actor some notice and fans thanks to the family drama's cult following. Also in 1998, Dunne had a supporting role in "The Big Hit", a Hong Kong action-influenced crime comedy starring Mark Wahlberg and executive produced by John Woo.
