Ron Goldman’s Father: ‘I Hope Simpson Dies in Jail’

The father of Ron Goldman hopes shamed former football star O.J. Simpson will be jailed for his alleged part in an armed robbery earlier this year–and insists he should “die in prison.”

Fred Goldman admits he is still devastated after the athlete-turned-actor was acquitted of criminal charges for the murders of his son and Simpson‘s ex-wife Nicole Brown in 1994, but is confident that justice will finally be served.

Simpson is accused of taking part in a raid on a memorabilia collector in Las Vegas in September, and Goldman is hopeful a guilty verdict in the case would help to ease his pain over his son’s death.

He says, “If he gets sent to jail, that would be okay. I guess. I wanted the death penalty for him, but if he gets sentenced to jail and dies there, that would have to do.

“I hear he might get as much as 90 years. Good. I hate him. I feel vindictive.”

A preliminary hearing over the armed robbery began last week.
