Ronnie Hawkins worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Hawkins kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Renaldo & Clara" (1977), the Bob Dylan documentary "The Last Waltz" (1978) and "Heaven's Gate" (1980). He also appeared in the Lorenzo Lamas action film "Snake Eater" (1989). He also appeared in the TV special "Robbie Robertson: Going Home" (1994-95). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Sodbusters" (1993-94). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Secret Service" (1992-93). In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "Sound Affects" (1999-2000) and "Doc" (2000-05). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "The Band" (1995-96). Most recently, Hawkins acted in the comedy "The Life and Hard Times of Guy Terrifico" (2008) with Kris Kristofferson.
