Rosie O’Donnell Wants To Play Steve Bannon on ‘SNL’

It’s no secret that it’s been a rough few weeks for Donald Trump. Upon arriving in the Oval Office, he began signing Executive Orders left and right only to be protested and checked and balance at every turn. Perhaps he should have read the Constitution prior to signing on to the job of POTUS? (Just a thought.)

Anywho, since we have to laugh to keep from crying, Saturday Night Live, blessed us with one of its greatest sketches in the past several years. Comedy Queen Melissa McCarthy came through with a hilarious spoof of Press Secretary Sean Spicer. Spicer is known for his grotesque wardrobe choices, incessantly chewing gum, antagonizing the press and pretty much lying about everything including the size of the inauguration crowd and generally being trash at his job. Shockingly after the acclaimed spoof, Trump was pretty quiet on Twitter (rare for him), and Spicer himself even laughed off the spoof saying the McCarthy should have spoken slower. According to CNN (which is not fake news), Trump is PISSED about the spoof, and his silence is “seen internally as a sign of how uncomfortable it made the White House feel.” Trump also didn’t like the fact that McCarthy a woman, played Spicer. (We all know how he feels about women.)

Coming off of McCarthy’s brilliant segment, long-time Trump foe Rosie O’Donnell has said that she’d be down to play his chief strategist, white supremacist Steve Bannon on the long-running series. She tweeted that she is totally “available” and is just waiting for the call.

If this happens (which seriously can it?), it might be the thing that tips the Trump administration over the edge. Buckle in folks, we are in for a bumpy road.
