The hard-partying star spent years as a recluse after countless run-ins with police and hot-headed rows with movie executives, until his recent comeback role in The Wrestler.
Rourke caused heads to turn as he reportedly slurred his words when photographers asked him to pose in between fashion shows mid-afternoon on Tuesday.
But the 57 year old happily obliged reporters who asked him why he wouldn’t smile.

The honest actor told the New York Post, “(Because) I’m still drunk… I’m wearing the same suit I got from a bad movie I did seven years ago. It’s still got the stains from a bullet hole. I just put this colourful pocket square in front of the stain so nobody can tell.”
