Biography

Royal Beal was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. With debut roles in the Dana Andrews documentary "Boomerang" (1947) and the dramatic adaptation "Death of a Salesman" (1951) with Fredric March, Beal began his career in film. He went on to tackle roles in "Anatomy of a Murder" (1959) with James Stewart and "The Devil and Daniel Webster" (). Toward the end of his career, Beal acted in the biographical drama "The Joe Louis Story" (1953) with Coley Wallace.
