Oscar winner Russell Crowe damaged his Mercedes on Saturday after visiting his wife Danielle Spencer and newborn son Tennyson in the hospital.
The actor drove his car into a concrete pylon while leaving Royal North Shore Private Hospital in Sydney, Australia, leaving the vehicle missing some of the trim and costing several thousand dollars worth of damage.
The next day, Crowe brought another vehicle–a black Porsche 4WD–to take singer/actress Spencer back to their home in the central Sydney area of Woolloomooloo.

Tennyson was born on Friday and is the couple’s second child.
