Lean On Me actor Jermaine Hopkins was arrested for drug possession in North Carolina last week (ends13Oct17).
Hopkins, who also appeared in Juice, was pulled over for speeding in Apex and police officers subsequently discovered 5.7 pounds (2.6 kilograms) of marijuana in his trunk.
According to TMZ, Hopkins was arrested and charged with felony drug possession with intent to sell. He also received a speeding ticket and was released on $3,000 (GBP2,300) bond.
This isn’t the first time Hopkins has faced legal issues – in 2011, he was arrested for buying 200 pounds (90.7 kilograms) of marijuana from an undercover cop. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and three years probation.
