Celebrities are more than just pretty faces on a silver screen. Their fame gives them the power and privilege to truly make a difference and contribute to the world in their own, unique ways. And though you may be jealous of their good looks and bank accounts, you can’t deny how influential the people of Hollywood are — and we’ve got facts to prove it. AskMen.com launched their sixth annual Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2011 list today and more than 200,000 readers voted in this year’s poll to determine who had the greatest impact on society.
So which of your favorite stars made the list? Hollywood hunks Ryan Gosling, Ashton Kutcher, Bradley Cooper, Charlie Sheen, and Kanye West were all honored, but George Clooney impressively holds the record as the only person to be named in each list from the past six years (no wonder the ladies love him). Other notables include SEAL Team Six, Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg, and Apple visionary Steve Jobs, who rightfully earned the number one position. Check out the Top 10 Influential Men below:
10. Lionel Messi (soccer player)
9. Ryan Gosling (actor)
8. Anonymous (hacker)
7. Prince William (British royalty)
6. Mohamed Bouazizi (fruit vendor/protester)
5. Kanye West (singer)
4. Warren Buffett (investor)
3. Larry Page (CEO of Google)
2. SEAL Team Six (Black Ops group who found Bin Laden)
1. Steve Jobs (Apple founder)

So what do you think? Do Sheen and Kutcher deserve to be on this list after their recent antics? Are there other prominent male figures who deserve to be on this list? Was there any doubt that Gosling needed to be on this list after his heroic intervention on the streets of NYC? Tell us your thoughts!
