Biography

Sarah-Jane Potts began her career as a 17-year-old child actress. Potts had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as "Woundings" (1998), "My Son the Fanatic" (1999) with Om Puri and "Straydogs" (1999). She had a part on the television special "Bramwell IV" (1998-99). In the early 2000s, work on the television shows "Off Centre" (2001-03), "American Dreams" (2002-05) and "Keen Eddie" (2002-03) followed. Later, she earned a role in the dramedy "Wonderland" (2000) with Shirley Henderson. She also starred in the TV movies "Dalziel and Pascoe: Time to Go" (2000-01) and "Murder She Wrote: The Celtic Riddle" (2002-03). Potts focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the Tom Arnold comedy "National Lampoon's Barely Legal" (2005), the drama "Breaking Dawn" (2006) with Kelly Overton and the Joel Edgerton comedy "Kinky Boots" (2006). She also appeared in "The Escort." She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Gracepoint" (2014-15). She also had a part in the TV miniseries "Zen" (2010-11). Potts also acted in "Young Blades."
