Sharon Stone and Melissa Etheridge have been named among the most influential people in gay culture in Out magazine’s annual list of homosexual icons.
Stone will be named 2005’s Straight Ally and cancer survivor Etheridge the Entertainer of the Year.
Action man-turned-California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger makes the new list—as a member of the magazine’s Hall of Shame for his stance against gay marriage.
