Simon & Garfunkel Story show extended as Paul Simon preps final London gig

A hit West End stage show documenting Simon & Garfunkel’s career has been extended ahead of Paul Simon’s final London concert this weekend (15Jul18).
The Simon & Garfunkel Story, starring Philip Murray Warson as Paul Simon and Charles Blyth as Art Garfunkel, has already been seen by over a quarter of a million people around the world, and new interest in the duo’s music sparked by the planned release of a new Simon album and his final world tour, have prompted theatre bosses to extend the run to Christmas (18).
New dates at the Lyric Theatre for shows on 1 October, 29 October, and 10 December have gone on sale.
The show, which was set to end later this month (Jul18), details the rise of Simon & Garfunkel in Queens, New York and follows the fortunes of the world’s most successful music duo of all time.
The ambitious and acclaimed show features art video projection, contemporary newsreel footage, and TV commercials to tell the story of the pair, and features hits like Bridge Over Troubled Water, The Boxer, and The Sound Of Silence.
Paul Simon will play his final London show at Hyde Park on Sunday.
