Snooki’s Engagement Details: All You Need To Know

snookiEver since the rumors were confirmed about Snooki’s pregnancy, it’s all anyone can talk about. And while the exciting news is certainly worth discussing in detail, our beloved pickle-aficionado has another event that deserves some attention as well: her impending nuptials!

Sure, we’ve seen pictures of the Jersey Shore star’s new, shiny bling, but we want more details about how it all came to pass, as does the rest of the world. And thankfully, bits and pieces of information are leaking out to help us learn how Snooki’s fiancé, Jionni LaValle went about putting a ring on it.

Let’s start with that impressive rock. The $55,000 ring is set on an eternity band, which features 2-carat round diamonds on the band and a 3.02-carat princess-cut diamond in the middle, totaling over 5 carats.

According to E! News, Jionni actually played a significant role in designing the ring, with the help of Ben Bekdas, a jeweler at B&B Jewelry in Wayne, N.J. Bekdas revealed that the couple showed up in the store a few months ago to pick up a birthday present from Snook’s father, but it quickly turned into ring browsing. Bekdas said, “She was dropping hints to Jionni and tried a couple of rings on. She picked out three different styles of rings.”

But since Jionni wanted “the very best” for his little pint-sized meatball, he began creating a unique ring she would love. “Jionni came in by himself two months ago and we started designing the ring together. He picked it up last month,” Bekdas said.

As for how the proposal itself, Bekdas shared, “They were at the W Hotel in Hoboken. Jionni got down on one knee on the balcony. Snooki had no idea that she was getting an engagement ring.” Unsurprisingly, Snooki loved it and the two of them hope to go searching for wedding bands in the near future. Now that’s a Jersey Shore fairytale if there ever was one.

What do you think of Snooki’s new bling — too much or just right?
