Singer/songwriter Sophie B. Hawkins has filed for custody of her six-year-old son following her split from longtime partner Gigi Gaston. The Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover hitmaker moved to end her domestic partnership with her manager Gaston in August (14), and they are going through the legal process of dissolving the union.
Hawkins has now made it clear she wants to be a sole parent to son Dashiell, filing paperwork in a bid to gain full custody, according to TMZ.com.
Editors at the website report Gaston does not plan to challenge the custody bid.
