There was a time when Stacey Dash was a well-thought of C-list celebrity. We enjoyed her as Dionne in both the Clueless film and the subsequent TV show. She was also slayyed in Kanye West‘s iconic video “All Falls Down.” Sadly, the days of thinking highly of Stacey Dash have long passed. Denouncing herself as a feminist and constantly trashing Black people, productions and networks (which have been the backbone of her career) have made her the laughing stock of Hollywood. After all, there are ways to be conservative without being completely moronic. Unfortunately, Dash’s latest snafu was aimed at the wrong person and as a result, the has-been actress is truly feeling the sting.
It all started innocently enough, Beyoncé‘s mom, the legendary Ms. Tina Lawson, commented on Kelly Rowland‘s Halloween costume. Rowland was dressed as Dionne from Clueless. Lawson originally wrote, “this is my baby Dione last night of course she is prettier and more smart than the one from the movie, but I was confused because she kept saying something about her pager…” (After Dash’s response, she clarified her comments.)
Like anyone’s mom, Ms. Tina was simply comparing Rowland to Dionne the film character, not commenting at all on Stacey Dash herself. However, parched for attention, Dash thought it was cute to take to her personal blog saying,
“First of all, if you’re trying to throw shade about someone’s intelligence, maybe use “smarter” instead of “more smart. “Here’s the thing — Kelly Rowland is a beautiful girl and I love the costume! Imitation is the best form of flattery.”
As you can expect, the Beyhive was having not of it.

All Ms. Tina was doing was showing Kelly Rowland some love and Stacey Dash just had to make it about her. Typical. We’ll just say this, everyone knows not to talk about anybody’s mama, especially not Queen B’s.
