Steve Aoki and BTS collaboration sends fans into frenzy

DJ Steve Aoki and South Korean boy band Bts have sent fans into a frenzy after releasing their new collaboration, Waste It On Me.
The track was released on Thursday (25Oct18) along with a lyric music video, and fans have since taken to social media to express their excitement over the single.
“WE DECIDED TO STAN (obsess over) THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BTS X STEVE AOKI FOREVER & ALWAYS,” one fan wrote.
“This is probably a good time to remind you that if BTS and Steve Aoki, two ASIAN acts, go #1 on Billboard in 2018 they will likely be making history,” another fan pointed out.
This is BTS’ first song entirely in English and first collaboration with the electronic dance musician.
The boy band has enjoyed a series of firsts this year, becoming the first K-Pop act to top the U.S. album charts and the first Korean act to be nominated for and win an American Music Award. The seven-piece boy band beat out Cardi B, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, and Shawn Mendes in the Favorite Social Artist category.
