Well, this is not a good end of the year for dead pan actors (perhaps the wrong choice of words, but alas, that is what they are). The late Leslie Nielsen was joined today with Barney Miller star Steve Landesberg. His dry wit carried him through the show, which led to him stealing scenes and earning Emmy nominations. His most recent work was the pediatrician in Forgetting Sarah Marshall who ordered Jason Segel to get out and get some tail. We’ll just skip over his other recent work on Wild Hogs and remember him going out on Barney Miller and with that small, but hilarious, role.
