He also contributed to "The 25th Annual Country Music Association Awards" (CBS, 1991-92), "The American Music Awards" (ABC, 1986-87) and "The Texas Connection" (The Nashville Network, 1989-1993). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Chet Atkins: Read My Licks" (The Nashville Network, 1994-95) and "Merle Haggard: An American Story" (The Nashville Network, 1994-95).
