Steven Tyler and Garth Brooks to contribute to Bluebird Cafe documentary

Musicians including Steven Tyler and Garth Brooks are set to appear in a documentary about famed Nashville venue, the Bluebird Cafe.
The official feature length movie, directed by Brian Loschiavo, will tell the story of the intimate 90-seat venue, which celebrated its 35-year anniversary in June (17), and also feature contributions from stars including Jason Isbell, Vince Gill, Dierks Bentley, Kelsea Ballerini, Hunter Hayes, Maren Morris and Kacey Musgraves, who will reflect upon its importance in the music industry in Nashville, Tennessee, according to Rolling Stone.
The documentary makers are using crowdfunding website Indiegogo to finish the project, and a number of the stars have sent in video to support the fundraising campaign.
“What do I owe the Bluebird? Just everything I’ve got,” Garth said in his clip, while Kelsea added, “I think it’s time that its story gets told, what do you think?”
The cafe, which showcases aspiring musicians, has became more famous thanks to the TV series Nashville, which sets many scenes in a recreated version of the Bluebird. Stars from the show, including Charles ‘Chip’ Esten, Lennon and Maisy Stella, Clare Bowen, and Jonathan Jackson are set to appear in the documentary.
In the fundraising video, Chip said, “Some friends of mine are putting a documentary together as we speak. They’re looking for funding on Indiegogo, you can be a part of the funding of this great Bluebird Cafe story. Chip on in anything that you can, no pun intended.”
The organisers are hoping to raise $500,000 (£380,000) through the campaign, which has only achieved around $16,000 (£12,000) in donations so far.
