Sublime bassist recovering after serious ATV accident

Former Sublime bassist Eric Wilson has been left seriously injured after an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident.
According to editors at TMZ, Wilson’s manager said that the musician – who’s now a member of the band Sublime With Rome – sustained the injury on his avocado ranch in California.
While working on the ranch, Wilson’s ATV rolled over him, which resulted in the bassist breaking his arm and four ribs.
Following his injury, Wilson was taken to a hospital near San Diego, where he underwent surgery, the outlet reported.
Wilson’s manager told People that the ska musician is still in hospital, but is expected to be released early next week (beg08Apr19).
Sharing an update with fans, Sublime With Rome’s official Twitter page told fans, “Eric says thanks for the well wishes! He’s doing much better. F**k avocados, man. They’ll get you every time! #donttrythisathomekids.”
According to the band’s website, they’re scheduled to play a concert in Augusta, Georgia, on Wednesday (10Apr19). It remains to be seen whether or not the gig goes ahead.
