Supergrass reuniting for 25th anniversary tour – report

British rockers Supergrass are reportedly reuniting for a 25th anniversary tour next year (20).
The foursome split in 2010 after releasing their sixth album Diamond Hoo Ha, with singer Gaz Coombes and drummer Danny Goffey both enjoying successful solo careers. But according to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, the group will head out on the road in 2020 to mark 25 years since their multi-platinum selling debut, I Should Coco.
The band are set to play their first gig in nine years at Britain’s Pilton Party one-day festival at Worthy Farm, Somerset on Friday (06Sep19), before announcing the jaunt.
An insider told the publication: “When the lads realised it was their 25th anniversary, they thought it was a good moment to celebrate. Even when they split, there was never any massive bad blood to overcome – they’ve wished each other well in their careers since.”
The tour is expected to include two nights at London’s Alexandra Palace, and a run of festivals – including a set during Glastonbury Festival’s 50th birthday celebrations.
