Tara Subkoff ‘demanding $10 million’ in divorce battle

Actress turned director Tara Subkoff is reportedly demanding a $10 million (£7.7 million) divorce settlement from her sculptor husband Urs Fischer.
The couple wed in 2014 but filed for divorce in June (16), just weeks after Tara gave birth to their daughter Grace George.
The divorce is reportedly a bitter one, with with sources telling the New York Post’s Page Six column that Urs is unwilling to meet his estranged wife’s financial demands.
“Urs would like to settle the case. He’s not ungenerous,” the insider said. “He’ll do right by the child and even right by her, but her level of greed or avarice is really high.”
According to editors at the gossip column, a Manhattan Family Court hearing earlier this month (Sep16) saw Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Matthew Cooper urge the former couple to reach a settlement ahead of another hearing in October (16).
“I’m really, really hoping the parties can come up with a resolution that’s not only good for them but good for a child,” the judge said.
In June (16), Tara admitted that Urs had not seen his daughter since her birth, but according to the source he has been visiting her and their child.
The baby girl is the American Pie star’s first child. Before her marriage to the sculptor she had previously dated U.S. late night host Jimmy Fallon and filmmaker Wes Anderson.
