Taryn Southern was an accomplished actress, noted for her comedic timing in her roles for television shows. Southern started off her acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in "Senior Skip Day" (2008) and "Deep in the Valley" (2009). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "Rules of Engagement" (CBS, 2006-2013). Southern also contributed her voice to characters in "American Dad" (2004-). She continued to work steadily in sitcoms throughout the early 2000s and the 2010s, appearing on "The League" (FX, 2009-), "Last Man Standing" (ABC, 2011-) and "New Girl" (Fox, 2011-). Her career progressed to film, including a role in the Aaron Eckhart sci-fi feature "Battle: Los Angeles" (2011). In her more recent career, she tackled roles on "Guys With Kids" (NBC, 2012-13) and "Legit" (FX, 2012-14). Southern focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the thriller "Pound of Flesh" (2011) with Malcolm McDowell and the Lee Roy Kunz comedy "The Frankenstein Brothers" (2012). Southern most recently appeared on "Naked After Dark" (Discovery Channel, 2013-14).
