Taylor Spreitler mourning the loss of father

Melissa & Joey actress Taylor Spreitler has vowed to educate others about depression after her father committed suicide this week (begs04Jul16).
Danny Spreitler, 55, was found dead by a co-worker on Tuesday (05Jul16) in the coffee shop he owned in Amory, Mississippi. According to police authorities, he suffered a single gunshot wound.
The 22-year-old actress, who is also known for starring in U.S. soap opera Days of Our Lives, confirmed her father’s suicide in an emotional Instagram post on Thursday (07Jul16) and vowed to help others struggling with depression.
Besides a picture of her dad snuggling with a dog, she writes, “Today my heart is hurting. My dad took his own life due to his struggles with depression. I am deeply saddened and will miss him dearly as he was my inspiration and biggest cheerleader. I am sharing this news with my all my fans as I want to educate everyone on the pain that depression can cause.
“My mission now is to educate others on how to get help. If you know someone who is struggling, please tell them to call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline… ‎Also, I ask that you respect my family’s privacy during this time so we may heal from the devastating news. Thank you for all the love and support.”
