Ted Neeley worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. He was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for "Jesus Christ Superstar" in 1973. His film career continued throughout the seventies and the 2010s in productions like "A Perfect Couple" (1979) and "Hard Country" (1981). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Of Mice and Men" (1981-82). Neeley also created music for "Blame It on the Night" (1984) with Nick Mancuso, "Caught" (1987), and the Chuck Connors drama "Summer Camp Nightmare" (1987). Neeley last acted in the Jamie Foxx smash hit western "Django Unchained" (2012).
