Biography

Teddy Randazzo produced music that was featured in many Hollywood productions. Debuting in roles such as the Alan Freed musical "Mister Rock and Roll" (1957) and the music "Hey, Let's Twist!" (1962) with Joey Dee was where Randazzo began his career in film. Randazzo had a diverse career throughout the eighties and the early 2000s, including "Better Off Dead" (1985) starring John Cusack, "Nuns on the Run" (1990), "Living Out Loud" with Holly Hunter (1998) and "A Home at the End of the World" (2004). Toward the end of his career, Randazzo provided music for "An Education" (2009). Teddy Randazzo passed away in November 2003 at the age of 66.
