The Daily Shuffle: Hugh Hefner is Sad About ‘Playboy’ Cancellation

hugh hefnerYou’ve probably heard that NBC’s new show, The Playboy Club, was canceled after only airing 3 episodes. Hugh Hefner actually heard about it too and took to Twitter to present his feelings on the subject and said, “I’m sorry NBC’s ‘The Playboy Club’ didn’t find it’s (sic) audience. It should have been on cable, aimed at a more adult audience.” He continued, “Fans of ‘The Playboy Club’ are really upset at the cancellation.” He concluded with, “At the same time, there is renewed studio interest in a major motion picture on my life & the start of the Sexual Revolution.” THANKFULLY, right? THANK-FUL-LY. – Hef Twitter

Amanda Seyfried suffers from panic attacks, but she’s been working with a therapist to overcome them and she says she’s “passing” therapy with “flying colors.” She told Glamour UK, “I still do get terribly nervous, and that’s partly due to the fact that I think to much and overanalyze things. I’ll start worrying about my parents or my dog, and I’ll picture him opening the window of my apartment and falling out, even though I can’t get that thing open myself.” – Us

Adele has canceled her U.S. tour because she needs more time to recover from when her vocal cord haemorrhaged. On her website yesterday, she wrote “Guys, im (sic) heartbroken and worried to tell you that yet again im experiencing problems with my voice… Singing is literally my life, it’s my hobby, my love, my freedom and now my job. I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever. I have great confidence in believing you know how much this upsets me, how seriously I take it and how truly devastated an annoyed I am by this. Wanting to do something so bad and not being able to is the most frustrating thing as I’m sure you know! My voice is weak and I need to build it back up.” – Adele.tv
