pauly d the situationAfter Abercrombie & Fitch issued a statement asking The Situation and the rest of the Jersey Shore cast to stop wearing their brand, The Situation and Pauly D BOTH responded via Twitter. Sitch said, “Looks like Abercrombie got themself into a situation!” He then retweeted a broken link that claimed A&F stock has “plummeted” since the company voiced their disapproval of the show (the stock has in fact dropped 9%, though). Pauly D tweeted an interesting point, though. He said, “Hmmm if They Don’t Want Us To Wear Those Clothes Why Make GTL Shirts #yourPRsux.” A representative for MTV has also commented on the matter, saying “It’s a clever PR stunt, and we’d love to work with them on other ways they can leverage Jersey Shore to reach the largest youth audience on television.” There’s nothing better than when two great minds come together, I always say. – Chicago Tribune, MSNBC

The poll also revealed that the “most unpopular and least trusted personalities” were Paris Hilton and Charlie Sheen. A “source” maintains that Marc Anthony is “harassing” JLo. Perez Hilton reports, “He calls her nonstop, especially when he’s drinking, and they had a huge argument in early August. Marc is constantly harassing her and doesn’t think she’ll go through with the divorce.” They were most recently spotted in the Hamptons together hanging out with their kids, Max and Emme. – Perez
