Leonardo DiCaprio routinely dates supermodels, and his latest acquisition is 22-year-old Victoria’s Secret model Erin Heatherton (who, during this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, was credited as being the “Sexy Nerd” of the group). Leo reportedly met Heatherton while shooting Baz Lurhmann’s The Great Gatspy in Sydney, and they’re frequently seen walking around together and going out for dinner. A source told the Daily Telegraph, “There were times when they weren’t really talking but then they would get chatty again and laugh and stuff… If they’re not ‘together’ I would say they are very close.” – Radar Online
Ivanka Trump is in a little bit of trouble with fashion designer Derek Lam for reportedly being a copy-cat. Lam is arguing Ivanka “blatantly and intentionally copied” one of the label’s designs (specifically the Ayami wedge shoe, which sells for $780) for her own line, Ivanka Trump Footwear. And when you look at Ivanka’s version (which she calls “Cadie,” and is selling for $150), the similarities are, in fact, remarkable. Lam sent both Ivanka and Marc Fisher Footwear a cease and desist letter, and is giving them seven days to take the “Cadie” off the market. The CEO of Derek Lam, Jan-Hendrik Schlottmann, said of the issue, “We have seen very similar copies but we have never seen a shoe that perfectly copied. It’s such an investment to make a shoe…we had to protest this.” – Daily Mail
Newlyweds Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are in no rush to have kids, and instead are looking forward to their first Christmas as a married unit. Lachey told People, “I don’t think there’s necessarily a timetable for [kids]. We’re definitely excited about becoming parents at some point, but I think whenever that happens, we’ll embrace it and be excited for it.
